Dedham Veterinary Associates is looking for an experienced technician to join our team! Our busy practice offers a compassionate work environment that values fear free techniques, encourages continued growth and team support.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Patient intake - including obtaining medical history, vitals and recording appropriately
- Fear fear handling techniques and comfortability with canines and felines
- Knowledge in common disease, vaccine schedules and preventatives
- Ability to obtain and prepare lab samples
- A compassionate demeanor and love for veterinary medicine
Qualifications:
- 2 years veterinary clinic experience required, CVT preferred
- Ability to multi-task and solve problems efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Strong customer service / client communication skills
- Able to lift 40 pounds and stoop, bend, kneel and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Computer literacy skills - Cornerstone experience a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
