Throughout the Boston Celtics’ storied history, they have long stood for equality and respect, including drafting the first African American player, hiring the first African American coach, and playing the first all-black starting five. The Celtics have won a record 18 NBA Championships spanning five (5) decades, including eight (8) in a row from 1959-1966, and winning their most recent in 2024. In addition, forty-one (41) former Celtics players, management, coaches, or staff have been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In December 2002 the team returned to local ownership for the first time since 1963.

As a Content Producer, you'll collaborate closely with our Live Production & Entertainment team to capture, edit, and craft compelling content. Your creative input will be pivotal in enhancing game presentations, special events, promotional materials, and videos. We're seeking a team member who is passionate about Boston sports, thrives in a collaborative environment, and shares our enthusiasm for delivering unforgettable experiences at Celtics games and events.
Responsibilities:
- Produce content for all Celtics home games and special events
- Collaborate with Digital, Operations and Editorial teams to support recording studio content efforts including producing, shooting, and lighting.
- Content includes, hype videos, player personality pieces, game recaps, fan and community spotlights, mascot and entertainment team highlights and much more
- Responsible for shooting, lighting, audio capture, graphic creation, and all that is involved in post-production
- Collaborate with TD Garden staff on driving gameday scripts and implementing graphics, audio, and video
- Contribute to overall Celtics marketing and content efforts and planning
- Lead content creation and sharing on Celtics Entertainment social media channel, working closely with the marketing group to grow presence and connect with fans
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of LP&E
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the sports industry preferred
- Skilled in the operation of Sony and Canon cameras for both videography and photography
- Proven understanding of Adobe’s suite of tools: Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Self-motivated and organized; ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects at one time
- Ability to excel as a team player while also demonstrating the capability to independently manage all responsibilities
- Strong desire to collaborate, continually learn, and consistently go above and beyond in delivering high-quality content to Celtics fans, the Boston community, and team partners
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as determined by the team’s game and event schedule
