About the Role:
Our client is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Manager to elevate their brands’ presence across various platforms. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase engagement, drive traffic to their online stores, and enhance brand awareness. This role requires a passion for fashion, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze data to inform decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies for Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn to grow the audience and drive brand engagement.
- Content Creation and Curation: Develop compelling and visually appealing content, including posts, stories, and videos, tailored for each platform. Stay updated on the latest social media trends while maintaining a consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
- Email Marketing: Develop and coordinate email marketing campaigns that align with social media efforts, using email platforms to drive engagement and conversions.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster community and enhance customer relationships.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track social media performance metrics and provide regular reports analyzing audience growth, engagement rates, and sales conversions. Use insights to refine strategies.
- Influencer and Partnership Management: Build and nurture relationships with influencers and brand partners, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community, to amplify reach and enhance brand credibility.
- Crisis Management: Manage and respond to any social media crises effectively and professionally.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand representation.
Posting Frequency:
- Instagram: 3-4 times per week
- Facebook: 2-3 times per week
- X (formerly Twitter): 3-5 times per week
- TikTok: 2-3 times per week
- Pinterest: 3-5 times per week
- LinkedIn: 1 time per week
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Exceptional writing and copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content.
- Experience with social media analytics tools to track performance and adjust strategies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Experience in and knowledge of the LGBTQ+ market is a plus.
Bonus Skills:
- Graphic design experience (familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of paid social media advertising strategies.
- Experience with community management and user-generated content strategies.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
