Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA
ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions and peer and family support to facilitate engagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals and to assist individuals in developing skills, establishing natural supports and resources to live successfully in the community.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant works with Mobile Teams to provide direct service, and program consultation for engagement of people in plans for skills training to enhance successful community integration. Under the guidance of an OTR/L, the Occupational Therapy Assistant may also gather data and report back for the purpose of assessment. S/he will guide staff through training and modeling, to assist them to learn and implement effective interventions for implementing a person-centered approach that promotes self-management, creativity in resource acquisition, skills development, and environmental adaptation.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours - Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $28.32/hourly

Required Skills
- Demonstrated high-level skills in clinical assessment and treatment of individuals with mental illness including proficiency in psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-oriented services required.
- Demonstrated skills in clinical training required.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) and the ability to make effective public presentations.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.
Required Experience
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with at least one year of related clinical experience.
