A leading middle market Private Equity firm headquartered in Boston, MA is actively seeking a Private Equity Associate to join their investment team, with a focus on the Technology & Software sectors.

Key Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in M&A Investment Banking at a bulge-bracket, boutique, or highly recognized middle market investment bank
- Exposure to transactions in Technology, Software & Tech Services sectors (TMT)
- Exceptional financial modelling & analytical skills
- Strong preference for candidates with ties to or interest in relocating to Boston long-term
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting industry research, due diligence, and analysis on investment targets, with the aim of understanding their business models, operations, financial performance, strengths, and opportunities
- Building, owning, and presenting financial models / forecasts
- Assisting in the preparation of investment memorandums
- Actively participating in firm meetings and presenting analyses and investment theses to Investment Committee
- Working directly with portfolio companies and management teams, including on value creation objectives and other initiatives to grow the value of investments
