Boston's Best Coffee Roasters is seeking a LEAD ROASTER in our South Easton, MA facility.
Responsibilities include
- Initiate set-up, run, operate Roaster, Able to read weights, able to follow and understand roasting specifications
- Read and follow recipes
- Troubleshoot problems
- Communicate any issues to direct supervisor
- General housekeeping, removal of trash, clean work area, at start, during and end of shift
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
- Responsible for consistently maintaining safe quality food products by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all safety work practices are adhered to
NOTE: Job requires heavy lifting, use of forklift, excessive standing, & repetitive motions.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written
- Must be a team player, flexible and have good time management skills
- Must be quality conscious and detail oriented
- Must be able to work overtime or start earlier hours as needed
- Mechanically inclined and understand the production process
- Able to relocate and/or lift, up to 150-pound boxes/bags

Able to stand, bend, and stretch while working on machine up to 12 hrs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
