Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the sales team (currently 2 members), including training, hiring and performance evaluations
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company goals
- Understanding the market landscape and identifying opportunities
- Driving sales and revenue growth through effective sales strategies and leadership
- Generating and reporting sales to company executive team
- Expected to personally contribute to the sales growth
- Generate and qualify leads
- Build relationships with clients and help close deals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong leadership skills with ability to choose the most effective leadership style for a given situation
- Proven strong sales experience in the asphalt industry
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Industry knowledge and competitive landscape
- Experience in Player-Coach role, combining leadership and individual sales contributions
- High entrepreneurial spirit
- Fact-based and analytical
- Results-oriented
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience in asphalt/concrete sales a plus
