Overseeing and managing the sales team (currently 2 members), including training, hiring and performance evaluations
Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company goals
Understanding the market landscape and identifying opportunities
Driving sales and revenue growth through effective sales strategies and leadership
Generating and reporting sales to company executive team
Expected to personally contribute to the sales growth
Generate and qualify leads
Build relationships with clients and help close deals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong leadership skills with ability to choose the most effective leadership style for a given situation
Proven strong sales experience in the asphalt industry
Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
Industry knowledge and competitive landscape
Experience in Player-Coach role, combining leadership and individual sales contributions
High entrepreneurial spirit
Fact-based and analytical
Results-oriented
Good interpersonal skills
Experience in asphalt/concrete sales a plus
