Chief Sales Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing the sales team (currently 2 members), including training, hiring and performance evaluations
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company goals
  • Understanding the market landscape and identifying opportunities
  • Driving sales and revenue growth through effective sales strategies and leadership
  • Generating and reporting sales to company executive team
  • Expected to personally contribute to the sales growth
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Build relationships with clients and help close deals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to choose the most effective leadership style for a given situation
  • Proven strong sales experience in the asphalt industry
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Industry knowledge and competitive landscape
  • Experience in Player-Coach role, combining leadership and individual sales contributions
  • High entrepreneurial spirit
  • Fact-based and analytical
  • Results-oriented
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in asphalt/concrete sales a plus
