Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to address various tasks efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and operational, providing a safe and pleasant environment for all.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to home or property
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Assist with installations of appliances, fixtures, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to service requests from management or clients.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues.
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
- Familiarity with using a variety of tools for a variety of projects.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100lbs.
- Comfortable on ladders.
- Clean driving record
- Strong focus on craftsmanship integrity and teamwork.
