Role Overview:
We are seeking a Master Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI and ERP systems to support our business operations through data governance, data quality, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing large amounts of legacy master data across various business functions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity. This role plays a critical part in driving data-driven decision-making and improving business efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:
Master Data Management (MDM):
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across ERP and other business systems.
- Manage item masters, customer, supplier, and product data in alignment with corporate policies.
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, sales, and operations to maintain data accuracy.
- Establish data governance processes and best practices for data entry, validation, and updates.
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues, including duplicate, missing, or inaccurate data.
ERP & Systems Integration:
- Maintain and manage master data within legacy systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, SAVIOM, CISPro).
- Support ERP implementations, migrations, and upgrades by ensuring proper data mapping and integrity.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to optimize data workflows and automate processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and internal policies related to data management.
Power BI & Data Analytics:
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs in Power BI to support business decision-making.
- Analyze trends and patterns in master data to identify areas for improvement and optimization in inventory (material control) and procurement.
- Provide insights on inventory, procurement, sales, and operational performance, production using data analytics.
- Support S&OP processes by providing accurate and timely data analysis.
Process Improvement & Documentation:
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for master data management.
- Continuously improve data governance policies and procedures.
- Document data structures, relationships, and change management processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel for data visualization and analysis
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, or automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, or VBA).
- 3+ years of experience in master data management, data analysis, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365, CISPro, LIMS, SAVIOM..).
- Experience in data governance, data quality management, and process optimization.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, CDMO, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with S&OP, demand planning, and inventory management processes.
- APICS or data analytics certifications (e.g., Power BI certification, CSCP, Six Sigma).
