Your Role: Leading the Way
As Director of Developmental Services (AVPDS), you’ll take charge of our I/DD programs, including community-based day services and employment initiatives. Your leadership will ensure our services meet the highest standards and truly enrich the lives of those we serve.

- Build Connections:Represent GAAMHA by engaging with families, funders, community leaders, and other stakeholders
- Drive Strategic Growth:Collaborate on budgets, policies, and new initiatives to expand our reach and effectiveness
- Uphold Excellence:Monitor outcomes, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead audits and inspections with confidence
What Sets You Apart
- You hold a degree in a field that has provided you with an education that is relevant to this crucial role—or you’ve developed the equivalent experience through many years of hard work serving people and leading others who serve vulnerable populations
- You have a minimum of 5 years of proven leadership success and understand what it takes to build cohesive teams who support each other to achieve common goals
- Your exceptional interpersonal skills enable you to connect with staff, stakeholders, funders, and the community
- You have a strategic mindset and a passion for creating meaningful change
- You have developed a proficiency in MS Office Suite and cloud-based record keeping systems, possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and can pass required CORI and other background checks

- Supervise:Directors, clinicians, and administrative staff
- Collaborate With:The President/CEO, Vice President, and other key decision-makers to shape GAAMHA’s vision
