Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide in home physical therapy to clients
- Evaluate the client's rehabilitative status and participate in the development of the total plan of care
- Initiate physical therapy program and instruct other personnel in certain phases of physical therapy with which they may work with a client
- Prepare and submit clinical notes and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals
Qualifications and Skills
- Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate or masters program in physical therapy or a graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with either an Associate’s degree in science or applied science that is approved by American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
- Valid license to practice physical therapy within the state of Massachusetts
- Home care experience preferred (not required)
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirement
- Bilingual encouraged to apply
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
