We are looking for an energetic, caring teacher who will be responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children that complies will all EEC requirements and regulations. Must be 100% fluent in Spanish with reading, writing and speaking the language.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Attend to children's basic needs including feeding, hygiene, etc.
- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as: games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips
- Develop Lesson Plans according SELA curriculum
- Promote literacy, math, and science in early education
- Develop activities to stimulate the children.
- Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health
- Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians, and child development specialists
- Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and development to determine their priorities for their children. Make suggestions as needed.
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use both in learning activities and in imaginative play
- Know emergency procedures and protocols
- Provide weekly schedules for children and parents
- Maintain a safe and well supervised classroom for students at all times
- Integrate special needs children in a respectful manner.
- Encourage children with expressions and hugs
- Participate in mandatory school events
- Clean and sterilize equipment and toys daily
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Special Needs Education
- 1 year of experience or 2 semesters of practicum in a Early Childhood education center
- Must be 100% fluent in Spanish-reading, writing, and speaking

Pay: $40,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
