Position: Draft Renderer
Compensation: $30.00 per hour.
Employment Type: Part-time to occasionally working up to forty hours per week.
Project Locations: on-site and remote work.
Dale Desmond Designs, LLC is actively seeking a motivated and responsible individual to fill the position of Draft Renderer with Dale Desmond Designs LLC. The selected candidate will be vital in supporting the company's owner in producing high-quality client renderings.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Dale Desmond, the company's owner, to create detailed and accurate clients scaled renderings.
Engage in daily discussions about design nuances to ensure a comprehensive understanding of intricate project requirements.
Use CAD, Rev-it, and 3D rendering tools to visualize architectural concepts effectively.
Explore building materials and their functionalities to inform and enhance the rendering process.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Ideal candidates will have a developing background in architecture or a related field, focusing on drafting, rendering, and design.
Developing Technical Skills:
3D Modeling Software: Developing proficiency in software such as SketchUp, Rev-it, Rhino, Vector-works, or Archicad is essential.
Developing Rendering Software Skills: to produce photorealistic images is highly desirable.
Developing Graphic Design Tools
A developing knowledge of graphic design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator for practical post-processing work and creating professional presentations.
Developing Architectural Understanding:
A developing and evolving understanding of architectural principles, building materials, and construction processes is crucial for producing realistic and accurate renderings.
Developing Visual Composition:
A developing sense of color theory and visual aesthetics to ensure that renderings are functional, visually appealing, and compelling.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication is vital for accurately grasping project requirements and effectively conveying ideas and concepts.
Developing Practical Experience:
Any prior real-world experience in architectural or otherwise rendering will be invaluable in enhancing skills and building a robust portfolio with Dale Desmond Designs, LLC.

Work Schedule:
Standard working hours are part-time, Monday through Friday, on-site fixed appointment hours, and flexible remote hours.
Applicants occasionally work full-time on weekdays, early evenings, and weekends when necessary.
