Escalante Golf is currently searching for a remarkable General Manager to drive excellence at our golf club. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of club operations and ensuring the highest standards of service.
The International, New England’s only private 36-hole pure golf club, offers a world-class experience unmatched in the region. Situated 35 miles outside of Boston, Massachusetts, on 660 acres of picturesque rolling topography, The International offers superb golf in a private, secluded, peaceful, and tranquil setting that is as inspiring as it is beautiful.
Our new Coore and Crenshaw course open this season.
With a capital investment of $30 million, The International is poised to become one of America’s renowned private club destinations for the pure golf experience.
Experience Required
5 years or more of experience within the golf or hospitality industry.
A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or something similar is preferred.
CMAA certification or PGA Member is a plus.
Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
Proven Business Developer
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Disciplined Leader (Experience with 4 Disciplines of Execution Preferred), Command of Excel is very helpful
Essential Responsibilities
Develop strategic plans to enhance the overall club experience.
Manage daily operations, including staffing, budgeting and facility maintenance.
Create innovative marketing plans and pricing strategies to attract new members and increase revenue.
Develop the golf course’s annual budget and monitor the performance of the golf club throughout the year.
Protects the golf course and its assets through managing a preventative maintenance program.
Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly and respectful manner.
Maintains exceptional member (and team mates) retention by creating an environment with excellent hospitality, programming and quality maintenance.
Participate in Member engagement and new member onboarding
Identify opportunities for member events, food and beverage services and golf
operations that foster member satisfaction.
