The Social Media Specialist will assist our enterprise social media team in executing and optimizing digital content strategies. This role will support content creation, scheduling and monitoring across multiple hospitals within Mass General Brigham, ensuring alignment with our mission, brand voice and compliance standards. Such efforts and channels include Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook.
*Please note this is a 5-6 month contract covering a parental leave starting May 2025. Open to remote talent, but welcome those willing to be on-site/hybrid.
Assist in creating content/assets, managing review process and scheduling posts across multiple various platforms using social media management tools, ensuring messaging is engaging, accurate and aligned with brand guidelines
Help scheduling and managing editorial calendars
Collaborate with other teams on content ideas and pursue opportunities for social-led content
Contribute to the social media team by offering creative ideas and solutions
Keep abreast of social media trends and best practices while also sharing learnings with the social media and digital team

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2-4 years of proven experience in social media management or a related role.
Strong understanding of how social platforms work and their functionality (FB, IG, LI, YT, X)
Proficiency in social media scheduling and management tools (Sprinklr Preferred), analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience working health care, particularly large, complex, enterprise heath systems
Ideal candidates capable of design, graphics editing or video editing for social.
Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated time management abilities.
