The Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MeHI) is the designated state agency for growing the digital health ecosystem in Massachusetts. The Healthcare Innovation Team within MeHI is focused on catalyzing healthcare innovation, technology, and competitiveness to improve the safety, quality and efficiency of healthcare in Massachusetts. We are seeking someone to join our team who is intuitive and interested in learning about and supporting the growth of the Massachusetts digital health ecosystem. Organization, curiosity, and dedication to collaboration are key to success in this role. This individual will be a key part of MeHI's Digital Health Sandbox Program and will serve as a liaison between MeHI and the research partners and startups who participate in this program.
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for:
Support for MeHI's ongoing programming development
Conduct independent research on health care and digital health related topics to be used in program design, requests for applications, and other program materials.
Research and maintain updated statistics on pertinent sector data to be used in web, PowerPoint, or other forms of presentation and communication materials; collaborating across MassTech divisions in coordination with MeHI leadership
Grant and Database Development and Management
Manage grant compliance, program documentation, and reporting for the health care innovation team programs.
Manage tracking, collecting, and analyzing annual reports on all companies participating in the health care innovation team programs.
Serve as MeHI's primary manager and point of contact with MassTech stakeholders for the iCertis and AirTable databases, including drafting and tracking contract approval documents and invoices, maintaining grant information, and preparing and producing reports as required
Help maintain MeHI's Salesforce CRM, including maintaining external stakeholder data, tracking external communications and grant information, and producing dashboards as required.
Analyze and report on program metrics that help evaluate the effectiveness of the health care innovation team programs.
Maintain MeHI's SharePoint drive, keeping files organized and accessible.
Support the development of requests for application, mini-bids, applications, and other procurement materials under the direction and guidance of the Director of Digital Health Innovation.
Event Coordination and Support
Manage all logistics for in-person ecosystem events, including day-of coordination, at the direction of the MeHI Director, Director of Innovation, and Ecosystem Manager.
Work with the MeHI Health Care Innovation Team and MassTech Marketing and Communications Team to assist with the development and distribution of outreach materials promoting MeHI events.
Serve as a company representative and attend functions, as necessary, to promote the health care innovation team programs.
General Program Support
Assist with the management of program meetings and presentations, including scheduling meetings, developing agendas and presentations, taking meeting minutes, managing Zoom and Teams meeting and webinar platforms, and other meeting support as needed.
Manage relevant program e-mail inboxes, including responding to external inquiries and redirecting messages to the relevant MeHI or MassTech staff.
Requirements
Experience
Two or more years of progressive work experience, including internships or other scholastic equivalents in the required field
Previous digital health, or other healthcare industry related experience is a plus
Experience managing multiple stakeholders a plus
One or more years of project management experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extremely organized and highly motivated, a self-starter with initiative, who is able to effectively prioritize work at hand
Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships at all levels, internal and external to MeHI
Flexibility in approach and willingness to adapt when necessary
Ability to seek out answers for difficult situations or questions
Excellent computer skills, including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,) SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
Experience using contract management software, Salesforce, or AirTable, a plus
Ability to travel occasionally to off-site events that are often not accessible by public transportation
Attendance at occasional evening events is required.
