Vice President of Technology & Engineering

We are seeking a VP of Technology & Engineering, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, to

lead technology strategy, engineering execution, and production operations, guiding product

development from concept to commercialization. This role will ensure that RaySecur’s

technology roadmap aligns with market needs, customer requirements, and company strategy.

Role Overview

The VP of Technology and Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the technology

development, hardware & software engineering, and production operations teams to ensure

seamless execution from R&D to scalable product deployment. This role will provide technical

vision, drive engineering excellence, and continually evolve our products to deliver world-class

security solutions.

As a member of the executive leadership team, the VP of Technology and Engineering will

collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure RaySecur’s

technology roadmap and product development aligns with business objectives.

Technology & Engineering Leadership

• Manage advanced R&D, engineering, and product development fostering innovation, efficiency, and scalability across hardware and software teams
• Define and execute RaySecur’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry dynamics
• Continue to build on RaySecur’s leadership position in safe and secure millimeter and terahertz imaging technology
• Drive best practices in engineering development, including software and system architecture, embedded systems, AI, data analytics, technology stack decisions, design, testing, and security
• Ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards
  
  

Product Strategy & Execution

• Own end-to-end product development, from early R&D through to market launch and scaling
• Ensure a seamless transition from prototyping to production, optimizing cost, efficiency, and performance
• As part of the Company’s business team, define and drive the technical product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, sales, and company strategy
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between the technical organization and sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure product-market fit
• Stay ahead of market trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving security industry needs
  
  

Production & Manufacturing Operations

• Lead manufacturing strategy, and oversee contracted manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, cost and scalability
• Work with external manufacturing partners and internal teams to optimize production workflows
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality control, and supply chain resilience
• Optimize supply chain, vendor partnerships, and contract manufacturing relationships
  
  

Key Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in technology and product development, systems engineering, and engineering leadership
• Strong background in software, full stack or embedded IOT systems
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams (hardware, software, R&D)
• Deep knowledge of hardware and software integration within complex technical product ecosystems, with AI experience a plus
• Track record of turning innovation into successful commercial products
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and product lifecycle management
• Experience working in public security, defense, industrial hardware, or high-tech industries is a plus
• Experience working in fast-paced, early-stage companies, and agile teams
