The Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School (Parker) in Devens, MA has an opening for a part-time grade 11-12 math teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities include teaching two sections of Advanced Algebra/Trigonometry. We seek a creative educator to join a mission-driven, student-centered program grounded in the Ten Common Principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools. Instruction is personalized and student-centered with a focus on application and demonstration of mastery. Students create portfolios of work showcasing their ability to apply their mathematical knowledge and understanding to complex problems. Qualifications include: a degree in mathematics or comparable discipline and experience working with high school-aged students. MA licensure strongly preferred but not required; we will consider candidates who are interested in working toward licensure while employed.
