Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Hybrid / Quincy, MA

Duration: 3-6 Months (Contract)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designing technology roadmap of automation framework solutions
  • Contributing to testing approaches for quality framework
  • Collaborating with other teams for testing, best practices, strategy, and techniques
  • Developing test strategies according to a risk-based test methodology
  • Identifying areas of optimization and improvement in the testing process
  • Documenting framework, architecture, and design
  • Documenting defects and tracking them to resolution
  • Monitoring automated test execution for incremental and monthly releases
  • Establishing and governing automation metrics and KPIs to stakeholders
  • Mentoring members of the QA team on automation practices and skills
  • Facilitating backup to the UAT Technical lead
  • Participating in all automation-related designs, status/team meetings, etc.

Requirements

  • Experience developing test automation frameworks using Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Playwright, and REST Assured
  • Expertise in any programming language, preferably JAVA, and understanding object-oriented design techniques
  • Proficiency in using XPath and CSS Selectors, able to derive Customized Xpaths
  • Experience with Jenkins, Maven, SVN, Git, and XL Deploy
  • Experience using Version controller tools like SVN / GIT
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • AWS work experience is a plus
