Cambrian College’s School of Health Sciences requires a part-time professor to teach within the Massage Therapy Program starting in May 2025.
Duties and Responsibilities
Individuals will teach in one or more of the following courses: Research in Practice
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of a postsecondary diploma in Massage Therapy. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application)
General Certificate with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and in good standing.
Three years of relevant teaching or tutoring experience
Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and students
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into course delivery
Ability to work within a team environment
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom
Additional Assets/Preferred
Experience working in a post-secondary environment
Bachelor’s degree in education, a certificate in adult education, or one in progress
