As a seed-stage company, we're searching for a driven and strategic Director of Growth to lead our go-to-market efforts and accelerate our expansion.
About The Role
As Manifest’s first dedicated growth leader, you will build and execute the strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and expansion. Reporting directly to our CEO, Sarah Horn, you will own the growth engine, from identifying target verticals to optimizing marketing efforts. This role is both strategic and hands-on, ideal for someone with entrepreneurial drive and a data-driven mindset. You’ll collaborate closely with our executive team and leverage contractors to achieve ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for expanding into new verticals while supporting the growth of existing ones.
- Define and execute growth initiatives across multiple channels, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media.
- Own the system of growth: vertical strategy, messaging, packaging, and prioritization of channels.
Data-Driven Experimentation:
- Design and execute A/B tests to optimize conversion rates and customer acquisition.
- Build and manage data systems and dashboards to measure and refine growth strategies.
- Analyze metrics to identify trends, evaluate performance, and inform decisions.
Content-Led Growth:
- Develop a content strategy that establishes Manifest as a thought leader in the SMB space.
- Partner with content creators to produce high-quality, engaging materials across various formats.
- Optimize and distribute content to attract and convert target audiences.
HubSpot Implementation & Management:
- Lead the migration to HubSpot and oversee its ongoing management.
- Leverage HubSpot’s capabilities for marketing automation, lead nurturing, and campaign performance tracking.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and other teams to align on growth objectives.
- Manage and direct contractors to execute specialized marketing tasks.
- Lay the foundation for a future growth team, with opportunities to expand and lead a team.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Experience: 3+ years in growth marketing or go-to-market roles, ideally in a B2B SaaS or SMB-focused environment.
- 0-to-1 Expertise: Hands-on experience building and scaling growth initiatives from scratch in fast-paced startups or early-stage companies.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Proficiency in analyzing data, creating dashboards, and using insights to inform strategy.
- HubSpot Mastery: Hands-on experience with HubSpot, including implementation and optimization.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership of challenges.
- Collaborative & Creative: Ability to work cross-functionally and think outside the box to achieve goals.
Bonus Points
- Experience working with SMBs or in vertical SaaS.
- Familiarity with AI-driven products and tools.
- Track record of hiring and managing contractors or small teams.
