About the role:
As the
VP of Strategic Content Development, you will lead the creation, management, and execution of a comprehensive content strategy aimed at establishing Laudio as a leader in healthcare thought leadership. You will work across multiple formats—including articles, reports, multimedia, and live events—to build a growing audience of healthcare executives. This role demands strategic vision, data-driven decision-making, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and external contributors.
Reporting to the President of Laudio Insights, this role is critical in amplifying our mission through high-impact content, while ensuring seamless alignment with marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Content Strategy & Planning:
- Develop an annual strategic content roadmap focused on key themes and goals to engage healthcare executives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align content priorities with business objectives.
- Establish a streamlined content planning process that meets deadlines and integrates stakeholder feedback.
- Content Creation & Execution:
- Oversee the development of articles, reports, and multimedia content, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with strategic goals.
- Create a pipeline of data-driven insights and visuals to support articles and reports in collaboration with analytics teams.
- Lead and manage the creation of 2-4 comprehensive reports annually, from ideation to co-publishing with partners.
- Write or co-author articles that position Laudio as an industry leader.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Build and maintain a network of internal and external contributors, including subject matter experts and advisors.
- Act as the point of contact between Laudio Insights and other teams, such as marketing, sales, and product.
- Serve as a liaison to external partners, coordinating joint content development and publication efforts.
- Audience Engagement & Expansion:
- Design and execute strategies for delivering content across multiple platforms to maximize reach.
- Lead the development of webinars, micro-learning videos, and other media to extend content visibility.
- Represent Laudio Insights at conferences and events, supporting thought leadership initiatives.
- Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Continuously improve content development workflows to optimize efficiency and output.
- Introduce innovative approaches to content creation and delivery that reflect industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM, communications, or writing-focused field.
- Master's degree (MBA, MPH, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in a senior content strategy, thought leadership, or executive communication role.
- Experience serving the healthcare industry, especially U.S. hospitals, health systems, or medical centers, preferred.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Skills:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a focus on executive-facing materials.
- Strong analytical and visualization skills for data-driven storytelling.
- Proficiency in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to influence and lead in a remote environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in various environments with multiple distractions
- Must be able to travel
Location:
US-based remote, with up to 15% travel for conferences, events, and team meetings.
