Join our growing Product Management team driving features that enable the accurate and efficient diagnosis of cardiovascular disease! At Elucid, the Product team defines product vision, strategy and roadmap, collaborating closely with clinical, engineering, marketing and sales teams to deliver products that are market-ready, compliant and aligned with both clinical needs and company strategy.
As a Product Manager, you will guide the end-to-end lifecycle of product strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have product management experience with software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) products and exposure to medical imaging or visualization. Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure products deliver maximum value to providers, patients and the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Oversee the product lifecycle, from conception to launch and beyond.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., design, clinicians, customers, executives) to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout development.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements and feedback to address user needs and pain points.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear user stories, defining acceptance criteria and providing clear feedback to development teams.
- Lead sprint planning, clarify requirements, and support the team during development to maintain focus and manage shifting priorities.
- Maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, requirements, feature specifications, and release notes, to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Partner with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces and conduct user research/testing to refine the product.
- Collaborate with Regulatory and QA teams to define acceptance criteria, conduct testing, and manage and ensure high-quality and compliant deliverables.
- Lead user research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions and drive innovation.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales for planning and execution of product launches.
- Monitor key metrics to assess performance, leverage performance metrics to make data-driven decisions that continuously improve the product and processes.
Education And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a SaaS environment, preferably working with:
- AI/ML products. MedTech and Medical Imaging experience is a plus. or,
- SaMD and Medical Imaging. AI/ML products and Cardiovascular experience is a plus.
- Prior experience at a startup or small to medium size organization strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of modern, agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships with R&D, clinical, and cross-functional teams, prioritizing project and company success through effective teamwork.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, and comfortability with changing priorities and ambiguity.
- Experience with user research and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of product management tools such as JIRA, Roadmunk, etc.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required.
At Elucid, we believe the best work happens in a flexible hybrid environment. Boston-area employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.
